Belinda Schlafer, LMHC, CCTP, EMDR-C Belinda is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). She has been licensed since 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Houghton College with a minor in Sociology and a master’s degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from St. Bonaventure University. Belinda is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and is certified in EMDR.
Belinda currently works as a Mental Health Counselor for Cuba Rushford Central School providing counseling services to staff. Before her work at Cuba-Rushford, Belinda worked in multiple roles for the Allegany County Department of Social Services in Adult Protective, PINS Reform, and Adoption and Home Finding.
Belinda is the founder of the Educator Wellness Program. Mrs. Schlafer is the co-founder and presenter of the Officer Wellness Program. She is the founder and developer of the Educator Wellness Program, the Attorney Wellness Program, and the Self-care and Wellness in the Child Protective and Healthcare Profession. These programs provide participants with the tools and resources needed to manage the stressors of their respective careers and their best life possible. In 2024 Belinda opened her own wellness consulting practice, Compelled to B. Well.
Brent Schlafer- Wellness Officer, Allegany County Sheriff's Department In addition to his role in court security, Officer Schlafer brings valuable expertise as a RAD Instructor for Self Defense for Women. He is proficient in instructing various programs, including ICISF Group Crisis Intervention, the Resistance Resilience Recovery Continuum Critical Incident Stress Management System (CISM), and Suicide Prevention and Crisis Intervention. Officer Schlafer holds certification as a Field Training Officer and is actively involved as a co-founder and instructor for the Officer Wellness Program, and Self-Care initiatives within the department.

Nola currently works as a public health educator, is the chair of the Orleans County Suicide Prevention Coalition, and is a member of the GOW Pathway to Hope Suicide Prevention Steering Committee. Nola has a Bachelor of Smiles in Clownology, is a Laughter School and Hug School graduate, and has attended humor conferences. Learning about self-care and helping others is her calling
2. Healing and Balance Found in Nutrition Maria Boyuk, Certified Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner Maria Boyuk is a certified Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. She started her nutrition business, Thriving Health, in 2018 after graduating from the Nutritional Therapy Association, based out of Olympia Washington. She has taught classes and workshops to hundreds of participants, equipping them with tools to transform their lifestyles through nutrition. She also loves working with private clients to help them define and achieve personal health goals. Making A Plan for Wellness Using WRAP Robert Statham, B.S. | Training & Technical Assistance Facilitator, Alliance for Rights and Recovery (formerly NYAPRS) Robert Statham is a Training & Technical Assistance Facilitator with the Alliance for Rights and Recovery. He has worked with people with mental health and substance use issues for more than 20 years, promoting recovery-focused services and service provision. Combining his clinical and vocational background, Mr. Statham provides training and technical assistance around employment services and the capabilities of people with behavioral health issues to providers and people in recovery, across New York State and nationally. Robert also works with the National Development and Research Institutes Addiction Technology Transfer Center (NDRI-ATTC) project helping organizations promote and operationalize employment-centric recovery-oriented care. Additionally, Robert provides consulting services through the Alliance with Boston University Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation and the Washington State Health Authority involving employment practices and support for Individuals with psychiatric disabilities. He is an active member/consultant of the SAMHSA SOAR Team and has contributed to the development of the Encouraging Self Employment resource for the SOAR website. Robert also is the President of Pathlight Career Counseling Services, a consulting service based in Rochester NY and works with area college students to assist in their employment and career-related goals.

Mr. Jonah Crump, Ardent Solutions, Inc., Trauma-Informed Care Coordinator Jonah joined Ardent Solutions in February 2023, as the first Trauma-Informed Communities Coordinator in Allegany County. Before joining Ardent Solutions Jonah worked as a Senior Social Welfare Examiner at the Allegany County Department of Social Services. Previously, Jonah worked as a Family Advocate at ACCORD Corporation Youth Development Worker for the Olean YMCA. Jonah's current duties include facilitating the Trauma-Informed Communities throughout Allegany County Coalition and coordinating the Trauma-Informed Champions Program.
