From Burned Out to Burning Bright Resiliency Conference Burnout is a common experience, particularly in helping professions, where the demanding nature of work can lead to significant vicarious and toxic stress. Balancing professional duties with personal responsibilities, such as work commitments, assisting others, and caring for family members, can quickly consume our time and life like an extinguishing flame. It is essential to recognize the signs of burnout that arise when we neglect to pause and prioritize self-care.
