Professionals

To begin to address trauma, training in trauma-informed care is necessary for professionals including health-care providers, law enforcement, human service organizations, youth-serving agencies, governmental agencies, and anyone working to improve our communities. Training is important to build the capacity for our workforce to deliver holistic care, being sensitive to how a range of experiences over the life course may relate to a person’s current behaviors,  health status, and overall quality of life.
